A. It's a safe secure way of protecting and keeping track of your personal assets and household contents. Oakmont Asset & Content Register minimises the stress and hassle if your assets and contents should ever be lost, stolen or damaged. If this does happen to you, all you need to do is contact us by phone or email, and Oakmont Limited will provide you with documentary detail of your assets and contents. The Asset & Content Register provides secure electronic storage should you need to access this personal information in an emergency.

Q. What does my membership cover?
A. It protects the assets and contents of anyone living at the same address that you wish to include in your cover. If you live in a shared house, you can choose to add your housemates to your membership at no additional cost. All your most valuable information is stored securely online, thus giving complete peace of mind for you and your household.

Q. Do I really need Asset & Content protection?
A. Yes. On average 730,000 homes are broken into and property stolen each year. This statistic is sadly likely to increase with the current economic climate. Recent weather conditions have increased the risk of flooding. In the event that you are affected, just one phone call or email will action a listing of your assets and household contents. In an emergency, you can feel reassured that you don't need to rely on your memory. Q. How much does the Asset & Content Register cost?
A.
Just £5 inclusive of VAT to set up your own personal register, and a monthly subscription of £3.00 inclusive of VAT (payable in quarterly instalments) will protect you and your household all year round - whether you are an unfortunate victim of theft, flood, fire or other damage, you can feel assured that details of your assets and contents are to hand.

Q. How do I pay?
A. Payment utilises PayPal where you can opt to pay via credit card or direct debit from your account The set up fee and 1st quarterly installment will automatically be deducted from your nominated account at the end of the trial period. To access PayPal click here

Q. If I decide to cancel the PayPal mandate, will my membership be cancelled?
A. No, your membership continues until you cancel in writing to Oakmont Limited. If you wish to change your payment method we request that you phone us. Otherwise, we will contact you and ask for this information.

Q. Is there a maximum amount of storage space on my Asset & Content Register?
A. Yes. The maximum amount of storage space is 500Mb, sufficient to store 400-600 asset images/pictures. If you require more storage than this then please ask. This can be provided with a small increase in the quarterly charge.

Q. Are my details secure?
A. Yes. Security is our highest priority and every precaution is taken to ensure your account details and personal details are stored in a totally secure environment. Once logged into your account, the padlock symbol will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser window which means that the area is secure. Q. What are the benefits of being an online user?
A. As an online user you can access and manage your private and secure account from anywhere in the world at a time that is most convenient. It is the quickest way to view and update your details. It's everyone's nightmare - returning home to find your property flooded or destroyed by fire. With details of your assets and contents stored remotely on-line you have more time to focus on other things.

A. You can update your contact details by email, phone or letter. These are held in a separate customer database not connected in anyway to the Asset & Content Register.
